The people of Steveston have come together every year since 1945 to celebrate Canada’s birthday & the rich heritage of our community. Thanks to the tireless efforts of hundreds of volunteers & the generous support of our sponsors, the Steveston Community Society organizes one of the largest non-profit Canada Day celebrations across the country! On average, over 70,000 people from across Richmond, Metro Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest spend Canada Day with us!
The day begins at 10am with a parade through historic Steveston village, which features over 100 entries including floats, marching bands, celebrities, politicians, community groups, vintage vehicles & much more. Then, 
the Festival is officially kicked off at our Opening Ceremonies on the Main Stage at 12:30pm with dignitaries, speeches, & the singing of O Canada. After the official opening, the stage bursts with great entertainment all afternoon. Festival highlights include attractions such as the Japanese Cultural Show, Craft Fair, Trade Show, an awesome Children’s Festival, Carnival rides & Midway, Martial Arts Demonstrations, Youth Rock Fest, Food Fair plus an Art Show & Exhibit.
The main attraction is our famous salmon barbecue where over 1200 pounds of wild salmon filets are grilled over open fire pits. This popular treat sells out every year!

With award winning songs, international tours and top 10 Canadian chart action; Andrew Allen, with his infectious smile and witty charm, is a true live musician that guides his listeners through a musical journey. Creating more than just a show, Andrew embraces and revels in the experience. From his fun loving 2009 Top 10 single ‘I Wanna Be Your Christmas’ and his quirky Top 40 single 'Not Loving You', to his soulful ballads like 'Amazing' - which he performed in Whistler BC at the 2010 Closing Ceremonies of the Paralympic Winter Games - Andrew somehow knows just how to conduct a show that has you laughing, dancing and most importantly…remembering.

The Jardines are Cherelle and Ajaye Jardine, a mother daughter band from Richmond BC. The Cherelle and Ajaye combination is a delicious mixture of street smarts and innocence. Their life experiences are meshed together, giving the listener an ageless body of work to fall in love with. The Jardines new self titled cd is now available on www.thejardinesband.com

Some great combinations happen by accident, and that's certainly the case with new Canadian country duo, "Georgia Rain". One part Damian Marshall, one part Shanna Lynn, "Georgia Rain" became reality when two artists pursuing solo careers found that their voices, together, had an unmistakable, immediately recognizable sound - one that, ever since they came together, has had fans clamouring to hear more.
